1. Ask for Website Backlinks
Yes, just ask. To some, this strategy looks very ridiculous and some see this approach as impossible but of all the backlink strategies I’ve used in the past, asking for backlinks remains one of the most effective.
How do you ask for backlinks?
To start with, you need to find websites and/or blogs in your niche with high domain authority and SERPs rank. Then write the webmaster an email asking for a backlink to your website from one or a few of his related articles.
PS: Webmasters almost always link to well-crafted and informative resources from all over the internet and the probability of getting a positive response is high if you have great content.
The key to getting a high response rate is if you have amazing content on your website.
You may use below email template to request for backlinks

Another very simple and easy way to get high-quality backlinks to your website is to start a YouTube channel, optimize the channel and always add your website URL in your video description.
YouTube is also known to send very high-quality traffic your online resource and links coming from youtube often has a better average time on page.

Testimonials are another way to get quality backlinks, especially from your website visitors/users.
To achieve this, you simply need clients and/or website users to write testimonials about your articles, products or service. To get the best use out of this, you might ask your website users to link to some specific link(s) of your website for deep-linking purposes.
4. Write Reviews
How do you feel when someone writes good things about yourself, your website, product and/or service, good right? Well, you do not need to answer this as this is a rhetorical question.
Everyone like showing off how good they are which is where writing reviews play an important role in getting valuable backlinks.
The first sets of backlinks I got were from writing reviews.
You start by picking some specific websites within your niche or target market(s), then you go on to write comprehensive reviews of the websites, their products and/or service.
The final step is to write a simple email to the webmasters managing the sites to inform them of your reviews and ask if they are willing to link to your pages.
They always link back to you 99.99% of all time.
5. Comment on Top Blogs
You probably didn’t know but you can use some commenting hack on top blogs to get free backlinks.
For example, it might be a great idea to comment on Neil Patel, Brian Dean, Search Engine Land and/or other top blogs if you happen to have an SEO or digital marketing blog.
Please note that publishers want helpful and genuine comments and would most likely ban your email/IP address if they find out that you are just pasting your link in the comment section for backlink purposes.
Hence, the way to go about this is to find a related topic to one of the contents on your own blog. The write a helpful comment, by providing more insight into the topic discussed on the blog you’re trying to get a link from and then provide a deed link to the article on your own blog.
6. List your Website in Trustworthy Directories
Trustworthy directories are great backlink tools. All you need to do is to find directories within your niche and signup on them.
